About this event

The online Yarning Circle will be held via Zoom, an access link will be delivered via email to all registered attendees at 9:30am on the day of the Yarning Circle (24 April 2024). If you have any questions then please contact Wirringka Student Services (WSS) via email at wirringka@unisa.edu.au.

Join us for an online Yarning Circle; a free event exclusive to online/regional Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students at UniSA. This will be a culturally safe and responsive space to connect with other UniSA Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander online/regional students, and Wirringka Student Services (WSS) staff - Amy and Dylan. Basically Blak staff and Blak students having a yarn!

Then we'll have Wayne Buckskin from UniSA to talk about the UniSA Graduate Programs, additionally we'll have the National Archives of Australia join us to speak about their services, including assistance with family history searches. Furthermore, UniSA International will discuss the 2024 First Nations International Study Tour, offering an exciting opportunity for students interested in a funded international study experience.
